In Budo, when your “mind”, “skills”, and “body” unite to master as “autonomy”, you defined as “first rank”.

What is “mind”, “skills”, and “body” for you?

There are three things,

1. “The mind”: enhancement of mental strength and character.

2. “Skills”: the desire to expand the human ability.

3. “Body”: to piles up virtue (attitude of doing).


These three elements, the mind, skills, and the body, can be analyzed together through this chart.

Weaving the “cloth” with the “heart” of the warp, and the “skills” of the weft.
Although it is read as “yarn (Ito)” in Japanese, there is the word “intention” that has a different meaning in the same way.

“Yarn” = “intent”, and it is important to weave the yarn with an intention in life.
“Cloth (Kiji)” in kanji means “living fabric”.

Everyone makes their own original “clothes” using their “fabrics”.
In Japanese, it is read as “clothes (Fuku)”, but the same reading has the word “Fuku (fortune)”.

“Clothes” = “fortune,” which means that each person creates a happy life.
